Hotel Kašperk****
The hotel Kasperk is located not far from a mysterious castle of the same name – Kašperk in the middle of the deep forests,in the town, sometimes called the Gate to Šumava – beautiful Czech mountains called Bohemian forest.
There are 24 rooms – single rooms, double rooms, suites and royal suite with bath en suite named after places of interest that are nearby. It can be a mysterious Giants´ castle with its Stone wall, Gold mill remembering an important period from the history when gold was mined here, St. Margaret the patron of the church in the centre of the square, Vydra – a wild stream with huge spectacular stones, Luzný – a high mountain with a mysterious top made of stones called Stone sea.
The hotel building has just been very sensitively reconstructed. It forms together with the Municipal Hall and the church the historical dominant of the square in the town Kašperské Hory and creates its great charm. With its magical beauty the square reminds us of the famous historical place in our capital – Prague – the Old town square.
However, it is only five-minute walk from the square in Kašperské Hory and you are embraced by the nature formed by the deep forests, lakes, meadows and mountains, far away from the influence of the civilization.
The conditions of the Šumava mountains offer not only fascinating views of the hills and wild streams, but also a wide range of the possibilities to practise varied relaxation and sport activities for the whole year.
